A question

What do you call those menus that pop up when you move your mouse over them*? Move your mouse along the subjects on the left side of this page if you don't know what I mean.

*other than "annoying."

I've heard "dropdown" or "popup menus" used to describe this (or similar) designs.

Oh, and "rollover"... although I usually think of that as a button-appearance feature, more than a menu. Hopefully my guesses won't deter anyone who has real answers from responding!

See, "rollover" was my first instinct, but for some reason it didn't sound right, so I called them "hover" menus. But now "rollover" or "popup" is sounding more correct, so I don't know. :p
