Utah Mormons are made of unintentional funny. They make me laugh and/or cry all the time while I'm at BYU :D

I especially love telling people who grew up in the valley that my city has a whopping 4 stakes - quite a lot for being east of the Mississippi!

FOUR in one valley?! Sheesh, that is a lot! XD I moved houses and changed wards 4 times without ever moving out of ward boundaries, always staying in the same stake. Our quad-stake dances pull people in from inner Chicago down to the middle of the state corn-and-soy Illinois. D:

Hah, and here I was, thinking Kobb the Other Midwestern Mormon was in some obscure ward part. :P

oh wait. I guess that is still "small", isn't it? XD

Not one valley, one city. And it is in the nation's top 20 largest cities, so X)

Our quad-stake dances will require a 2-hour drive for some. But since all the stake centers are pretty close to the main city itself, it was rarely worse than a 40 minute drive for people in our ward. Still we're pretty populous by Midwest standards - I had roughly 10 members in my high school.

But yeah. BYU is especially ridiculous. Pretty much every building on campus is used for Sunday services. Which can be weird - I currently have church in the theater in the Wilk. :|
