I love stories about Gabriel sick with the virus. At least when we can see the effects of it.
Neither of them really wants to be alone, Maya especially. I think at this point he's having serious doubts about taking her ability.
She saved him! I think maybe that's where her anger is partly coming from. She's frightened. She's come all that way with the intention of getting rid of it but now she can control it and heal? That's gotta mess with your head.
I wonder if any of those people that Ale managed to save from Maya's ability had an illness? Maybe they found themselves miraculously cured.

That's a good point. Because she did come a long way and on that way she killed a lot of people with the same power and now she's almost at her destinations end and suddenly it turns. And as soon as she let go of her brother.

I think so. And wouldn't that be something? I wonder if they would make the connection?
