I know. All that time he put into making his dream come true. I think he thought it was worth it. -sad smile- what a brave little soul. -hugs-

Awwwwwwww! I'm telling myself that he had a huge cushion of leaves at the bottom so he'll live to 'fly' another day. :)

What a well done cartoon. alexis_laforge November 14 2006, 04:58:53 UTC
And very moving, too. The kiwi itself was adorable.

"Please be careful with me. I'm sensitive and I'd like to stay that way." razycrandomgirl November 14 2006, 05:15:33 UTC
I know it surprised the heck outta me! When I heard the thud at the end I started laughing. Then the laugh slowly melted in to sobbing and it got louder and louder until my brother came in and asked me what the problem was.
I could hardly tell him! "The video, the video it's so sad!" He looked at me and said "Are you serious?!" and started laughing at me. :X "You better stop crying." He sat down to watch it. When it was over he said it was sad but not worth all those tears.
I was so moved by Little Kiwi. I love him!

Mind you I was a very sensitive child. I found out that the Dodo bird was extinct and cried my eyes out. lol I got misty when I saw sap coming out of a tree because I thought the tree was bleeding. :x I didn't (and still don't ) like it when people tare branches off of trees. I feel like they can feel it and are screaming but no one can hear them. :-\
-Sigh- Oh well.

It was brilliant alexis_laforge November 14 2006, 05:29:43 UTC
I mean, the whole thing is hilarious, at first, like any cartoon, but then you start thinking, "How much is anyone that tries--and fails--just like that little kiwi? How much are all of us like him?" The moral of the story? Don't think too much; it makes your brain hurt.

Not really; thinking too much makes life interesting.

Another Leaf ... razycrandomgirl November 14 2006, 05:41:42 UTC
Yes, and we can all take away different meanings from the cute little Kiwi. I thought (oh no! thinking! -snicker-) that dreams are worth having. If you wanna fly, then damnit you spread your little nubby wings and sore like the best of them!.
That little Kiwi moved heaven and earth to make his sweet little dream come true. He loved every second! It was worth all the hard work it took to get to that dream.
That Little Kiwi is my Hero!
Awww he reminds me of Wash! :X

Y'know, he could've been fine. All we heard was a thud. Not a bloodcurdling OMGPAIN scream or anything. Maybe he just hit a tree branch or something. Huh? *nudges with silly grin*

And that's a very good point! So we are all agreed the he landed in a nice pile of puffy comfy leaves? YES!
