Summery/Prompt: a Mitchell and Annie drabble *completely* from George's point of view.
Author’s Notes: for
prettysirenx Co-conspirators! Those two always with the gaining up on and the plotting and why Mitchell lets himself be swept up by the pretty little ghost, when I have obvious logic on my side and not this crazy -because that's what this is; crazy- talk of old lovers and visiting landlords!
George watched in awe as she effervescently handed Mitchell the notepad. Madness. Such madness that George lost himself in the moment thinking how mad it all was. Unbelieving that Mitchell could let himself go along with it, to keep him on her good side. Because that's what he was doing.
"Believe me, George, an upset ghost is the last thing you want in the house."
Puddle; a soppy little puddle she'd turned him in to, and he didn't even know. She was playing him like a fiddle! Why couldn't Mitchell see the gargantuan holes in her little plan? Why did he think this was such a good idea?
"Awww. Has my sister had a baby?" Mitchell practically sung out.
What the h- and what was that? That stupid little smile! Always, always! I have to be the one to put my foot down and look like the bad guy, when clearly I'm the only one thinking straight! Sometimes it amazes me how Mitchell’s managed to last this long in the world, when factoring in how susceptible he is to Annie’s suggestion.
"Oh my god, has everybody taken stupid pills?"
