Now they just do it for fun and ... well, not so much profit as the righteous joy of Hooding*. Think of them as The A-Team where Hannibal is a drunk in remission; B.A. hates guns but kicks Bourne-grade ass;

I disagree. Any two shows featuring heists and set in the same decade are going to have similarities. That's completely unavoidable. But, even so, there are more than enough differences to disprove that statement. For instance, the Hustle crew are considerably less altruistic and far lower-tech. Also, excluding their fixer, they are all con-artists. The Leverage team is a mix of different skillsets (planner, muscle, hacker, traceuse, face).
