Care to expand on 'causality-multiplier weapons'? The only thing coming to mind is the Possible Sword from Perdido Street Station, which doesn't really translate well to a post-singularity setting.

Heh-heh. At the time, truth be told, I was just smashing words together. I never really thought about what such weapons might do.

However, now that you mention it, I imagine it would be able to make probabilistic chain-reactions that lead to specific results e.g. causing a star to go nova by taking one step to the left five days earlier.
