Chapter Two
“Ville Valo, I presume” Ville looked up as a good-looking man entered the room that he and Mige were currently occupying. Dr Orin Polleh had given the Finns an address to visit his brother at and they drove half an hour to get to a well-kept house. At first, they had thought they read the directions wrong but had then realised it was a small house in which Dr Polleh’s brother owned and worked at. ‘It is a small facility for pregnant men’ Dr Polleh had told them as they stood to leave ‘my brother shall help you with everything you need, he is good’
Ville still couldn’t comprehend the fact this was all happening. He wanted so badly to believe that this was all a dream. In real life he was not pregnant at all and he would wake up in his bed at Bam’s castle and he would laugh off such a stupid dream. But he knew it wasn’t and it was this that made him want to cry.
“Yes he is” Ville looked over at Mige who smiled slightly. He did not hold sympathy, but he did feel for Ville and it made Ville’s heart ache that he had someone there with him. Ville wondered why Mige had never questioned who the father was and he would admit he was slightly worried that Mige already knew. Bam and Ville had agreed to keep their activities quiet and if Mige knew, he wondered who else did.
“Well hello Ville” Ville smiled faintly at the doctor as he moved to sit in a chair in front of the two Finns “That’s a nice name, where are you from?”
“Finland” Ville answered quietly, his eyes watching the doctor carefully. The doctor nodded with a grin as he opened a folder.
“Ah, I’ve always wanted to visit Finland, I was considering it when I was in Germany” the doctor laughed a little “however I never really had time, pity that was” He looked down at the file while Ville rung his hands together. He knew exactly what this doctor was doing and it wasn’t working. Nothing could make him truly smile at this moment. “I’m Doctor Micole Polleh by the way, excuse me for not introducing myself when I entered” the other man grinned as he looked up again “but you may call me Micole, I don’t want you getting me confused with my brother”
Ville nodded slightly as he looked at Mige. He wasn’t really in the mood to be happy and he wanted nothing more then for this appointment to be over.
“Now, ah…you are the father?” Micole questioned as he looked at Mige with a smile.
“Oh no, I’m the best friend” Mige answered hastily, his cheeks going slightly pink. Micole laughed a little before shaking his head.
“Forgive me, I jumped to a conclusion” Ville grinned a little, he had to admit, it was kind of funny seeing Mige turn that color. It took a lot to embarrass his best friend and he silently complimented the doctor for doing so.
“The father doesn’t know” Ville explained, glancing at the doctor slightly.
“I see” Micole smiled at Ville again “will he be happy?” The Finn wasn’t sure how to answer the question. Should he be truthful or lie?
“I’m not going to tell him” Ville’s answer was short, but apparently it was good enough for the doctor as he nodded.
“Now Ville, the first question I’m going to ask is, are you going to keep this baby?” Ville looked at the doctor, startled. He was shocked at the question, he had never really thought about it before. On one hand, if he got rid of this child, there would be no problem he’d have to deal with and he could go back to his life. But on the other, there was a life growing inside of Ville and at that moment, she or he felt like a part of him already.
“He’s going to keep it” The pregnant Finn looked at Mige in awe. He couldn’t believe that the other man had just answered the question like he had a choice in it.
“No offence, I know you are a friend of Ville’s, however it is his choice. Ville?” Ville watched as Mige turned to him, his eyes pleading.
“Ville, this will be a child, a beautiful child. I know at this moment, you don’t want it, but you will. You will watch as he or she grows, help him or her through bad and good times and you will be proud of this child when they accomplish things they never thought possible. Don’t give up because you’re afraid” The singer felt tears in his eyes as he watched his best friend beg. “Do this Ville, and you will have your friends at your side helping you”
Ville nodded slightly. His answer was clear. He was going to keep this child whether Bam liked it or not. The doctor smiled as he nodded.
“Good good
. Trust me, that is the best decision you will ever make” Micole stood “and I will help you through every step of this pregnancy” Ville gave him a tight-lipped smile as he nodded.
The Finn stopped when he heard his cell phone go off in his pocket and he hastily pulled it out and looked at the caller id.
