Khai has been busy growing out of his clothes, and just like Max, he ends up with highwaters but his pants are still falling down because he's so skinny. One of the tough things about growing is that the kids have to relearn their bodies; in doing that, they run into things and fall down a lot. A LOT. Evidence:

I'm so glad you guys all enjoyed yourselves.
Even knowing that it's an option for the three of you
to fly out and meet up with Josh has to be so neat.
One of those things that you probably won't use often
... but just knowing that you can is helpful ;)

Yep-- it probably won't be a regular thing, but just the chance to go someplace new once in a while is exciting. =)

I'm glad you had a good time.

I find that almost everything in Dallas is plain compared to everywhere else. Dallas is all about fast, and cheap, and cookie cutter. Box houses, in box yards, with box stores, and box restaurants. Even most of popular bars and clubs (the one thing that still strives for individuality) are chains.

And yes... eating out gets old REAL fast. I'd kill for some of my Mom's Chicken and Spaghetti, Jess' Grandma's Spaghetti and Tomato sauce (as made by Jess), an Avocado and Cucumber salad, or a nice place of Jess' homemade Pirogies right about now. Instead, I'm heading to the Italian place around the corner that serves decent food, is very attentive, and keeps out of my way when I'm reading. :)

MmMM, Pirogies! Jess and I discussed those on our last coffee date and decided I should try to make them out of things I can eat. And eat them I would. ;)

The bump is turning a lovely shade of yellowish-purple now... poor kid. :(

Completely unrelated: I am so wishing for a girls' weekend right about now! Wish we could hit a spa and then go for some marathon shoe shopping. Someday?
