The shopping frenzy is about to descend-- the number of people out shopping on a daily basis this time of year never fails to surprise me. It makes me thankful for the wonders of buying online. The internet is also useful because I get to search for reviews on toys beforehand... I wish I'd looked into T-Rex Mountain a little more before agreeing to ( Read more... )

I agree with you 100% about the virtues of online shopping! I buy as much as I can from the internet (at all times of the year), and whilst it helps avoid the Christmas rush, I also find that it reduces the number of dodgy impulse buys that have blighted my past purchases.

Shopping makes me stressy at the best of times, so anything that helps me keep calm is a wonderful thing!

This is why I try to have the majority of our gifts bought before Thanksgiving. It's difficult because Brad refuses to think about christmas when it's Halloween, but he's getting better. Either that or I'm just buying things anyway. I'm guessing that one ;)

Zoë wants Polly Pocket things for christmas this year. Help Me.

Max put 6,238,203 lego sets on his wishlist... I can sympathize.

Don't they know that they have ENOUGH TOYS ALREADY????

Zoë (thankfully) is excited about her "new baby cousin" coming soon (february).
So she's finally agreed to pack up all her little people to pass on to her.
I'm sure my Sister will love getting so many toys before she even has a baby in the house
but I'm not going to risk Z changing her mind and deciding she still needs them.

Too many toys ... and there's only one child in this house.
We're starting to go through them all, slowly but surly, while she's at school.
If she hasn't seen it because it's been buried in the toy box for the last few months
she won't miss it.

Now the real problem is that she has stuffed animals that were mine as a kid
and I just can't seem to let them go. :O

At least lego's stack into bigger things ... my Mom would throw them away if she stepped on them. End of story. It was sad and I never understood why she would do that. Until now.

Max has good taste. Lego's are the Greatest!. I'm not sure how I got stuck with such a girl.

I'm firmly convinced that toys are like bunnies, they just multiply in the dark while we're sleeping. And yet, whose butt is gonna be out there picking up Barbies and such? With billions of teeny tiny shoes and clothing pieces and all? MINE! Cuz I'm a sucker. *sigh*
