Confessional Friday Revisited

Aug 04, 2006 11:50

Helloooo??? Hellooo? Anybody out there? Remember last summer, when we did Confessional Fridays?

We're gonna hit it one more time, just because.

Do you get envious? Of whom or what?

Enquiring minds want to know. Well, okay, *I* want to know.

Yes, I frequently find myself envious of people who seem to have a plan for themselves and are making progress with that plan - whether that's career, personal, or whatever.

I keep thinking that I should make one of those plan things too, but then I'd have to know what it was that I wanted out of life. (All the things I thought I wanted don't seem to matter as much these days, and I haven't found any new goals to strive towards.)

I'm envious of people who enjoy exercising and make it seem effortless.

Oh and btw, you'll find that I never post anything anonymously. The closest I'll come is deleting my comment if I want only you to see it.

Oooh there's a ton of stuff I don't want out there, I'm just too paranoid to actually write it down, anonymous or not.

I find myself most envious of people with talent or abilities similar to mine who are doing very well in a field I am pursuing the only difference being that they have more connections or more money to begin with.

I get jealous of the myriad women in my office who are lithe and sleek. I'm wondering if I would be a porn star to show off as much hotness as I could.
