Apparently my brain-fog is thicker than previously thought: I just realized this morning that we're supposed to leave for Santa Fe on Wednesday morning. That leaves me three days, including today, to get ready. I'm going to need a lot of coffee

I always clean before we leave.
Coming home where there's so much left
to clean (when you're bringing home dirty
clothes and more stuff) makes me nuts.

I think you have my cell number, but that he has answered my phone the last couple of times you've called (I randomly have to change diapers, rescue children in peril, the usual) The number is the same as his, only the last four digits are 2382.

Seriously though, I don't get on AIM much because it sucks the hours away so quickly! I won't be as busy after the holidays, so I'll have a few more evenings to spare. :) Plus, we are *so* overdue for some Tetrinet.

Well I know that I have loved getting to talk to you for a bit the past couple of times you've called, even though I'm not generally comfortable on the phone either. ;) I've been even worse than usual (if that's possible!?!?) about keeping in touch with people lately because I've been so crazy busy. I'm looking forward to things slowing down after the holidays... and I'm going to try to fire up the ol' chat program more often.

Ohhh, the cleaning. SO much to do still! And the kids will undo half of it before we leave...

Cleaning before trips is important. Coming home to a messy house (especially when you're visiting my mom's house, which is always SPOTLESS) is kinda depressing.

Coffee dates are good for the soul ... let's set one for when you / we get back. Now that we've actually gotten our tattoos, we need to make more excuses to get together. :)
