I felt pretty good, and like it enough to have signed on as a distributor, but when I thought I was going to move, I cancelled my autoship and stopped drinking it. In January I renewed my order and after a bit of hassle (bottles break when it freezes so I had to wait for ( Read more... )

It is expensive. It's slightly cheaper if you're enrolled as a customer than if you're just buying it straight from the website, but I understand it's still expensive.

But then again, I woke up at seven to go to the gym. I haven't been able to peel myself out of bed at all before eight and I've barely been going to the gym the last few months because I've wanted to sleep until nine before work. So to me, the fact that I can wake up this early (and I was up until 11:30 last night reading too) is proof enough that I have more energy.

I take a whole pile of supplements; a woman's multivitamin/mineral formula, salmon oil, extra vitamin D, some herbals, and a homeopathic chew tab, and it's only since I added the juice back that I felt like I'm supposed to. And when I look back to last summer, when I was drinking it before, I had the energy to paint my friends house every few days for three weeks without complaint (and mostly without help) so it's not just a seasonal thing.

Might the effect still have something to do with the amount of light increasing?

Yes, it might. That's why I also noted that last year when the light was decreasing, I felt the same effect. I haven't completely discounted the seasonal theory but I figure it doesn't hurt to be drinking extra antioxidants anyways.
