Good to hear things have been going well, sweetie! I myself have not been nearly as productive and not much has changed apart from ... drum roll please ... a new default icon! :)
Hello, you! *smooch* Missed you TONS, not to state the obvious...
Yay, meds, good food and exercise (which are no doubt helping the meds do their thing), and RL fun! Boo, elusive muse! Though, FWIW, it sure seems as though a lot of us have had muse issues the past several months -- maybe it's partly seasonal, as it looks as though spring might be helping to shake off the doldrums (the fic roundup newsletters seem to be plumping up of late). *hopes*
Connecting with your favourite author over a wee dram (or several ;) sounds awesome. (Speaking of authors, is your husband bringing his LJ back? I loved reading his sonnets, though I didn't comment enough -- been shamefully bad about that in general. *sigh*)
Also: You are the COOLEST MOM EVER. :)
You're still working three shifts? On the same schedule? *boggle* Gaaaah. *backrub* How long is that supposed to continue, or is it an indefinite thing?
Beyond thrilled to see you on here again, lovely lass.
*smooch* Missed you too :-) Hubby deleted his lj in the interest of getting published ::crosses fingers:: He actually has a few sonnets here and there, and he has a book of them entered in a contest for publication. He's still planning on fulfilling the sonnet challenges and getting those to the challengers, but I don't think he's figured out how to handle that.
Hopefully, the three shift thing won't be indefinite, but I've learned my lesson about backing out of the class too soon. I need to tag team with the new instructor (when we get one) so that the transition is smooth and we make sure we have the right instructor in there. Thank goodness for no-class Fridays! Especially since this is finals week ::flails:: Here's hoping all goes smoothly.
Oh, good. I was concerned when I saw he'd deleted his lj.
I'm glad things are going so well with you at the moment. I'm especially glad you're feeling less depressed and more like yourself. Don't worry that the muse is gone; talent isn't dependent on chemicals in your body. Writing ability doesn't just dry up, and I know you've got plenty to spare. :)
W00T! So very glad the meds are working well for you, sweetie! And it's terrific that you're running (and loving it!) and eating healthier, too. It seems like almost everyone on my flist experienced health problems of some kind for the past three months (maybe Mercury was in retrograde?) but I'm thriled that things are looking up for you.
yay! thanks for the update! I'm glad things are going better and that you're feeling more yourself. It's great that you are becoming more active. That helps with depression a lot to. People laugh, but endorphins really make a difference, at least I think so.
You're still going to Writercon right? Just checking... ::hugs::
