I liked your way of telling their story with these five different scenes. River's reaction to Jayne in the fourth one was pretty funny! I guess that seeing his man parts made it clear to her that Jayne is not a girl :D

Too bad River didn't actually call Jayne beautiful. His reaction to that could've been really something... :D

These were all wonderful but this line was a particular favorite:

"River realized that he was beautiful for his strength of character, of his unwavering belief in her strength and his willingness to hold her in her weakest moments."

Stated simply but powerfully.

you have the talent. It really just consists over very short individual stories. So, a new challenge perhaps for you, but I don't think 'can't' should be in your vocabulary when it comes to rayne fiction. :-P

It's possible? Depending on if a prompt from the lover100 community inspires me to do so. I've only done two and i'm hoping to keep most of them in the same 'world' as it were, so I'll probably find myself doing that.
