She pushed him against the wall in the cargo bay and pressed her lips urgently against his. He didn’t know what to do, wasn’t sure what was going on. And just as he began to respond, she pulled back and scampered away.
And she kept doing it. In the infirmary when her brother left, in the cockpit when Wash stepped away. And every time he started to kiss back, she danced away.
Then in the galley, he grabbed her arm before she could leave, looking at her with a question in his eyes.
“All things in moderation,” she answered him.
