Toothache of Death.

When I was in my late teens, and my wisdom teeth started to make their presence felt, I was still under medical and dental coverage with the parents. I told them "Ow, wisdom teeth." They told me, essentially, "Ow, braces bills," as at the time both of my younger sisters were in braces.

An old phrase comes to mind; it goes something like "ounce of ( Read more... )

:( Your 90 days are up soon though *huggles* As soon as you can take it, we'll get you to the dentist, because truth be told, I've needed to go also too. And similarly, I also needed braces when I was younger, but my parents opted to pay for Sarah to have braces and me to just deal with my tooth problem. Sarah had a baby canine tooth that just did not want to fall out, so when the adult one came in, it came in *behind* the baby tooth. They waited like a year or so also for that, and I don't recall her smiling a lot during that period of time. So the baby tooth had to be yanked, and then she got braces to bring the other one up. I still need braces, and heavy tooth work, 'cause like you, I have chunks of molars missing. Makes eating not very pleasant >

Hi Rayinte,

I recently got my wisdom teeth removed, finally, after years of letting them sit in the back of my mouth doing nothing but being a pain to brush and keep clean. They never hurt me whatsoever and didn't get infected with a cavity until recently too, which is why I finally had them removed. I didn't want the good tooth next to the cavity wisdom tooth to get infected as well.

I was very scared to get them removed at all, hence I kept putting it off until late last year. Also, the bill was somewhat pricey even with insurance. I was surprised that the procedure was painless. I didn't feel any pain until long afterward but only when I tried eating. The first few weeks after I got them removed were painful to endure, but I'm glad it's all over.

I hope you can get yours removed soon ♥!
