To be perfectly honest, I want to beat the author over the head with a two-by-four. Both the gendered recommendation list and the fact she's trying to enable the book banners are pissing me off SO. GODDAMNED. MUCH. *SNARL*

I DON'T EVEN WANT TO USE MY NORMAL BOOK ICON WHEN TALKING ABOUT BOOKS WITH THIS, THAT IS SAYING SOMETHING. *SCREAMS*

On a slightly better note, I love how you described Animorphs as an irredeemable clusterfuck in regards to morals. |Db

BECAUSE IT IS. Whenever you have biological warfare with breakfast food in the first third of the series, there's no coming back.

"For young men" and "young women" cracks me the hell up, though. What, if we use the more adult terms, they're STILL not able to read about the darker parts of life? Do they also still have to sit at the kids' table and go to bed by 8pm?

I changed icons from my drunken intellectual to the duct tape one. Grr. (Nice Pokemanz.)
