Especially one who hasn't made up his mind to be anything other than chaotic neutral. I was gonna use him as a bad guy in a Sisters related story, but he's resisting me. I think he genuinely likes Serenity! Hahaha...
That's a chaotic neutral god for you. He just knows that would push him to one side, the bad side, into true evil. Besides.. wasn't it in Dionysus' temple that everyone was praying?
Yep. He's not evil, though. I thought about it, but now I think I'll let him stay chaotically neutral. That will make the twins' lives more frustrating, I think. *snickers evilly*
I changed some wording in the paragraph where she steps out to meet him. Does it sound all right?
Ooooooh, Dionysus wine. Just the name Dionysus has got my interest peeked. I don't remember any gods by the name of Bacchus though. And I see you explained the bit about the sky above too.
This is getting more and more interesting, and I just noticed you haven't described what she looks like. Is she wearing a nightgown still like when she was sleeping? are her cloths torn a lot before of the thorns? I would think that her appearance might register as strange to Bac, but also as something to hint that Serenity is lost and is in need of help, which could also mean that she might be easy to...well, she did just drink something with Dionysus in its name. ^_^
Bacchus is another name for Dionysus, but in this story they're two separate entities. ^-^
*blink* Oooo, good point. *adds clothing description to list*
In my Elysian arc, the temple at the center (where canon Helios prays) is dedicated to a fallen senshi named Dionysus the Mad. Fallen as in broken and splintered, not as in fallen from grace. She sacrificed her planet early in the history of the Solar System to protect Earth (hence earning the title Mad), and it became the heart of the asteroid belt (Ceres, Pallas, Vesta, Juno, Hesta (remember Diana?), etc.).
So, the temple he is referring to is the Temple of Dionysus (canon Helios' temple), and thus why he calls it Dionysus' wine. *wonders if Ree caught the convoluted Raya-centric connections*
^-^ Did you think he was another facet of Dionysus? Hmmm... You know, that might work. Part of the male in her ego... Or her destined guardian who can never have her now. *giggles* At least until the Minor Senshi wake up. And then, HAREM TIME! Oh!... Oh!... I will have to write such a scene!! *ROFL*
