I would mention what room it is that Makoto is looking over. I assume it's the throne room, bur I have no idea what a dais is. You can also mention how the air smells/tastes different the deeper she goes. Other than that I would say this came out very good :)

dais = and upraised sectiopn of a room, like the platforms that thrones sit on.

*Looks back* I didn't mention the thrones? *sigh* Okay, more descriptives. But other than that I'm glad it was decently good ^-^

Enough descriptives for me. ^-^ I love the haunted feel you put in it throughout. Though, I would disagree with Mako. I think it's the planet itself that's watching her and when she takes her rightful place on the dais it is content. 'Course, it could be ghosts, too. ^-^
