Day 2 (later) - Mendoza

We went to the children's home today. We had a few main tasks: to paint the upper balcony and install new shelves in the pantry. I started off organizing one of the side rooms used as a storehouse for donated clothes and toys. This included about an hour of beating dust out of rugs with Alex and Stephen. Oh, I would do just about anything to taste the home-made milanesa with lettuce and fresh (peeled) tomatoes we had in a place near Mendoza and San Juan.

It makes me so, so happy that someone else enjoyed Mendoza and found the same great things about it I did, although there was absolutely nothing religious about our trip (we were mostly there doing science-y things).

I read your other post- and the first thing you said about Mendoza is the first thing I remember thinking: "This place feels a lot like home". If you ever ever ever want to talk about Argentina, you should let me know! I could probably go on for ages.
