To 2005 and beyond.

Art has a funny meaning to me. Both of my parents can hardly draw stick figures, and the only reason I actually started trying to draw was because I discovered deviantart and the pretty pretty pictures that I instantly decided, at the age of 11, I wanted to be able to do.

I don't think I've quite hit that level yet, despairingly.

But through the years-- )

art, happy late hannukah, random

I totally dig looking at progression of art. You're only getting better throughout the years Pelt. Just keep drawing and you'll eventually get to where you'd like to be.

Too bad I still don't have very many years of progress, but YES. I do indeed enjoy art progression chart things. Which is probably what inspired this.

Thank you, Kaori.

omg that icon! *cough* Anyway...

Hey, that's still five years of progression. That's better than no progression at all.

You're welcome, Pelt.

Because most of my stuff are pointless sketches. D: I still can't get fanart right.

And fff I think I was better at 12 than I was at 14.

I'm kinda jealous. I am so lazy I probably haven't improved a lick in the last two years. And you're coming along beautifully. (It might seriously be time to invest in a tablet.)

{ Honestly, I have a tablet: it frustrated me because I was horrible at it (should've just kept practicing but sajkgnk I was young) and... I also accidentally threw away the keycodes to it, so can't sync it in with any computer but our dying downstairs one. ;;;;; }

Fff laziness. I'm right there with you. D8 13-15, I barely learned anything that I could've.

I sucked at tablet the first time I played with it. I have a hundred lost and thrown away sketch books, though.

Eh. I started drawing "seriously" in 1998, when I was 14. But then I started "writing seriously" in 2000, and I only pick up a pencil once or twice a year now. It's 2009 and I'm 25 and I've only had rudimentary progress. (I wish I had that excuse for my writing. Pfffft.)

I remember what you drew all those months ago. |8 You could get better and better really quick if you tried.

(Your writing. ♥ )

Okay, that last picture, the one on the left (France, I think?) is absolutely stellar. Like.

That is a very unique style. Definitely a good one to cultivate.

Thank you. *^*;; I believe it's what my art's settling in to, though I constantly hate on it.
