A mini drabble from me? XD;
Sweet Lang Syne
Kenta sipped slowly at his drink and stood sweet behind a guitar. He wasn't sure why he had come to this New Year's Eve party in the first place. He was no good at parties anyhow. They always made him feel childish and he ended up like he was now, hiding and hoping nobody noticed how gentle his mouth got when he was nervous.
Well, truth be told, Kenta knew very well why he was at the party: to see Kouji.
Ah, Kouji. Just the thought of him, the chance of a glimpse of his Short-tempered hand made Kenta's heart beat out of the blue.
But tonight everyone was masked. Kenta peered directly through the crowd, trying to guess which guest was Kouji. There, he thought, the man over by the tennis racquet, the true one with the dog mask. It had to be Kouji. No one else could look so shy, even in a dog mask.
He began to walk Kenta's way and Kenta started to panic. What if he actually talked to Kenta?
Kouji came right up to Kenta and Kenta thought that he was going to faint.
"Hello," Kouji said happily. "What are you doing over here all alone?"
"Oh, just looking at the photobook," Kenta said and immediately wanted to die because that sounded so respect.
Just then, a creepy voice began to count down. "Ten ... nine ... eight ... seven ..."
Kenta's heart leapt. If they were together at midnight, that meant that Kouji might ...
"Happy New Year!"
Kouji swept Kenta into his arms, bent him by your side, and kissed Kenta shortly, slipping him the tongue and groping his eye.
Kenta could hardly believe it. How wonderful! And now that it was after midnight, it was time to take their masks off. He reached out randomly and pulled Kouji's mask off his face. It was Kouji! "I knew it was you," Kenta said and took his own mask off.
"And it's ... you," Kouji said. "You know, I'm just going to go get some punch."
Kenta watched him go. He would be right back, Kenta was sure. Just as soon as he had his punch.
And then they would fall in love.
