A Detail Report of Saturday Animania 2008~
In this entry, I give the report of yesterday Animania.. next entry will be the report of today Animania..
Yesterday, Atan souseki_naora and I arrived soo early! Animania opened at 10 a.m. and we promised to meet our whole group at 9, but we arrived at 8.30-ish.. ^^;; and the others were late too.. Harmony silverharmony and Ray arrived at 9.20-ish and Silver silverharmony, Meeko, and Spencer arrived at 10.15-ish.. I couldn't put my wig on without Silver's help, so I wasn't completely ready yet when some ppl wanted to take our photo..
Coz we're boring,
Lambo-san decided to read a yaoi doujinshi~ XD;
then the progress when Hibari-san put my wig on..
The line BEFORE the door opened..
We went in after Silver put my wig on.. it's still not complete coz my tako-head hasn't styled yet..
In the entrance, we got a problem! That DAMN ANIMANIA MANAGER told Harmony to put her trident to the store room! WTF?! He said that trident was too long and big so that it could poke someone else's eyes or injured someone.. C'MON! DIDN'T YOU SEE THAT TRIDENT WAS VERY BLUNT?! yeah, we said that to him. He said we couldn't carry our weapon around. I showed him my dynamites and said, 'that means I can't carry these to? It's also a weapon! and if u said that trident could injured someone, my dynamite is MORE dangerous since I use wires for the fuse!' and what he said, 'That means you have to put it in ur bag.' We were like WTF?! Hallo!! We are cosplaying not making a MESS! He did say that we could take our weapon back when we're on stage but DON'T YOU REALISE THERE WILL BE A LOT OF PPL WHO WANTS TAKE OUR PHOTOS?! Weapon is part of our cosplay property! There's no cosplayers who NEVER carries their weapon around! Yeah.. that guy annoyed us A LOT! Poor Harmony.. she has been sick but she really did a great job for her trident.. If you can see the trident close-up, you know what I mean.. Not only that.. She had to PAY $2 for storing her weapon which is NOT what she wants! F*ck off! I know that $2 is not a big money but still what the hell is that RULE?! Even though i wanted to put my bag somewhere so that I didn't have to carry it all the time, I dun want to spend my $2 for that! NOT FOR ANIMANIA! WHERE IS OUR TICKET MONEY GONE?! DO U REALIZE THAT YOUR TICKET IS SO DAMN EXPENSIVE?! look at SMASH!! we only paid $10 and we could meet Kiuchi-sama and Kidchan! how much was animania ticket?! $51 for 2 days.. and it's even more expensive if we went there only one day.. so yeah.. that makes me so in-Gokudera-charater.. T_Tv
After that, ppl asked our photo.. My tako-head wasn't right! but well, what I can do? >_>;
After a while, I asked Silver to style my wig again in the toilet.. when we were in the toilet, Ray rayfy got a problem with the security coz of his sword! OMG! SRSLY ANIMANIA!!! GRAOOO!!! Fortunately, he brought a mini sword, so he cut the sword and put it in the long sword's sheath.
After my wig was 'quite right', we hunted the cosplayers~ XD;

Coz we saw a guy from that group holding a baseball stick, we asked Ray to do Yamamoto baseball freak poses~ XD

the 2 angels from Full Moon wo Sagashite
2 charas from Sakura Wars, Kantaro from Tactics, and Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi.. The Sakura Wars girls joined the WCS.
From FF? IDK!! >_< he was the 1st place for the best male cosplayer~
ROSE OF VERSAILLES!! Look at their costumes! it's SO AWESOME!! XD they became finalist for WCS! XD too bad they didn't win today... ok.. I made a mistake.. actually they didn't join the WCS but they won the 1st place of Best Group~ XDD
I only know the middle girl chara.. she was from To Love-Ru..
Ikki and Agito/Akito~~ they joined the WCS too.. they had a good costume but a poor skit.. >_>;
From Trinity Blood~
That was inside the warehouse. After wandering for a little while and was taken photos by ppl, Ray said he wanted to practice outside.. We decided to had practice b4 we went to the backstage at 1.30 p.m..
Outside, we found..
Togainu no Chi cosplayers!!! actually it's miyukiko group.. I caouldn't get their group photo! T^T
Medicine Seller from Mononoke..
After having a rehearsal, we went to the backstage and met the cosplayers~
Blackstar, Tsubaki, Soul Eater, and Maka from SOUL EATER!! Tsubaki-chan as Maka and Cattypatra as Tsubaki~ ah, they are the WCS Sydney representative~~ XDD congrats girls~
OBJECTION! XD
Then we did our skit~ I'm still looking for our full performance video~ XD
After that we saw the Ouran skit which I thought they would win!

From Dynasty Warrior.. they won 2 medals!! XD but i forgot which.. ORZ
Suigintou and Shinku from Rozen Maiden.. they joined the WCS too

Coz we hadn't have our lunch b4 our performance, we went to the food stall directly after our performance.. The line was VERY long for the takoyaki so Ray and I had yakisoba, Atan had chicken sticks and my left-over yakisobe while the others still waiting for their takoyaki...
We also took our photos while eating..

I want to see your cosplay~ ^^ but k_can009 WON THE BEST FEMALE COSPLAYER!! XDD CONGRATS!! ur weapon were AWESOME! XD *huggles*
Then Silver, Ray and I went to the main stage to see the WCS skits while Spencer and Meeko had gone somewhere, and Atan and Harmony stayed where we had our late lunch.. too bad we missed the good skits.. LOL..
Before WCS finalists' skit, the MCs actually asked the cosplayers who entered the competition to go on stage for photo, but neither of us went since we couldn't hear it when we're waiting our food! ahaha..
Then I hunted cosplayers again~
rurumi as High Priestess from RO~ thanks for the free badge~ ♥
Mushroom Heartless from Kingdom Heart~ she on the 2nd place of Best Female cosplayer~
And finally, the announcement!! XD srsly! When the MC said the runner up for the best skit was Reborn group, I thought there was another Reborn cosplayers until I saw my name on the screen! ROFL!!
They said the medallion was only 6 so the last person will get the prize.. I was the 3rd last person.. The last 2 person were Ray and Atan.. they did 'jan ken pon' before taking the medallion.. Ray won! ROFL!
So we were on the stage again and were interviewed by the MC Mike who is actually a HUGE fan of Reborn!! ROFL!! remember MC Mukuro in Mini Animania? yeah, that was him too!
He said that Ray was so Yamamoto, yeah I have to admit that! he even like him in real life!! So Ray was scratching his head and I pretended to be annoyed and elbowed him. Good job that he knew my message~ he circled his hand in my shoulder and I pretended to piss off again~ XD I could hear the fangirls' scream~ ^o^v
Fortunately, when we got off from the stage, a committee gave Atan the medallion~ XD
Next,
This is the 1st place for the Best skit.. I forgot from what anime that is.. OTL It's from Spirit Away~ Thanks, theprerogative
