Here via a search for people discussing Downton Abbey and I found myself agreeing with a lot of what you'd said about this episode, most definitely the point about Anna's storyline becoming all about Bates, sadly.

Thanks for commenting! I'll hang in there to the end of the season, but I'm not quite as invested as I used to be.

If I kept watching after the second series, it'll take a lot to break me. I was surprised when this series came back by how much I was still invested, not in all the characters, obviously, but in enough.
