Hello! Feeling good this week: the sun is out, my friends are in, and I’ve only got one more chapter to go on my fifth draft! Also: a motherload of Merlin promotional pictures!!
Not really here, since I'm on a self-imposed partial hiatus and all...
I'm actually happy that Merlin will end soon, and that poor cast of actors can be put out of their misery. ;) Gwen looks exactly as I imagined the Queen of Everything would look. Good for her. In fact, seeing her as queen is my only reason for even wanting to watch the show. The rest of the plot can just diaf, for all I care.
I am sort of excited about Downton Abbey, even if the second series approached levels of pantsness that would normally be considered impossible for Julian Fellowes.
Is William finally going to get a love interest? I hope so. I was genuinely devastated when the blind soldier killed himself.
Um, William is dead. If he finds a love interest, zombies really will need to show up at Downton. You mean Thomas. :)

Along with the fandom. Even in the past five minutes I've seen things that suggest they're determined to be as shitty as possible right to the bitter end.
Thirteen episodes of Glorious Queen Guinevere and then I can be put out of my misery.

I'm looking forward to it. It'll be like a cleansing palate.
And yeah, I meant Thomas! The names were too generically similiar!
The new Merlin promo shots are so pretty, aren't they? Gwen and Morgana are rocking those outfits. I'm actually pretty glad the show is coming to an end as well. It feels right. If they just continue to drag it out...I don't even wanna think about that. I thought the same thing about the Sefa character. "Merlin's love interest?" I'd bet pretty high on that one, especially if this is the last season and Merlin has never had any type of romance extending beyond one episode. Though I am secretly wishing for Merlin/Morgana, but hell, that's just a twisted fantasy, haha!
Loved your quick little analysis of Black Widow. In Iron Man 2 she was pretty much useless, but in The Avengers she did exactly everything you pointed out. So yah Joss Whedon!
And if Edward Speelers was in that Downton Abbey trailer I certainly did not spot him, haha! Jeez, how long has it been since Eragon? He would look really different I suspect.
No, I've always really liked the idea of Merlin/Morgana, even if it is in a very confused, hate-fuelled way! Those two always had a great rapport with each other.
And I'm actually surprised by the amount of people bemoaning the end of "Merlin". After all the bellyaching about the stalling over the reveal and the general complaining about how they apparently don't like it anymore, you'd think it would come as a relief!
Re: Edward Speelers; I think he's the guy with his shirt half-off that Thomas walks in on. Yeah, it has been a few years since Eragon, but...*shudder*. Bad memories.
