I think a lot of people have already expressed my exact reaction and feelings when I found out about the racefail SPN fanfic. (The author already removed her story, but the link goes to excerpts from the story posted by bossymarmalade.)

I don't know Ravenstar. I'm just depressed about this. I know what you mean. The poor natives can't tae care of themselves and don't know any better. They need the outsider to tkae care of their problems. The problems that were caused by outsiders in the first place. I've just left COS forums. I've been prety active lately on the Draco thread and I am deprssed over that. I have never read so much crap defense of bigotry in my life. What is with people? Is it me? I just want to go away and lie down. Is it so hard to show respect for other people and their cultures?

Tell me about it. I really do think some of these people come from a place of privilege, which influences how they're very unaware of race issues. Draco acts and sounds just like the racist kids I had to deal with growing up. I can't help but think of how naive they are if they can't see how bad Draco's actions and words are. I really hate the love and apologizing for the Slytherin bad boys. Snape calling Lily a mudblood gets defended to no end somtimes, and both Draco and Lucius are arguably the biggest racists through out the story next to Voldy.

Is it so hard to understand that bigotry is wrong? That no one lives a life sealed in a bubble. That people with different cultures deserve the same respect that you would expect. Perhaps it's because I stand between cultures somewhat. I look the same as every other caucasion, I speak like them when I am in their company. But I am different, My people travel all over Britain in their trailors and can't pull on a campground because gypsies and travellers are not allowed. The local newspapers writes articles about us, that if our skin were a different shade would not be allowed to be published. We hide when we mix with Goirgias, (that's anybody who is not a gypsy.)You can go down to England and actualy see signs inthe bars and shops that say 'Gypsies not allowed.' We are literally demonised by the media. God knows we are not perfect, but we are nowhere near as bad as we are made out to be. That's t rant over.

I've heard of racism against gypsies in different parts of Europe, but there's still a whole lot I don't know. I know gypsies are known to be travelers, but I never understood why they're looked down upon or what stereotypes people believe.

I want to have some faith in these posters that maybe its because it's Harry Potter and its racism against muggleborns is why these people cant relate to it as much. Like if they had seen and heard of the same experience happening with real people/minorities in real life that they would look at it differently. Then again, I've seen the same real life racism apologizing going on in Snapedom. So maybe some of these people really are racists in real life but they don't realize it.

I haven't seen any of Kusturitsa's films. I tend to avoid films made about Romany's and Travellars because mostfilm makers just get s much wrong. Everytime I see something about The King of the Gypsies don't know whether to laugh or cry. I know my people get bad press and it's a vicious circle. We are seen as dirty and thieving and we see Gorgias as dirty and theiving. To this day I will not drink a cup of coffe in a home of someone who is not related to me. It was ingrained in me that all Gorgias washed their dishes in the same sink they poured the water from washing the floor down. Just yesterday my brother in law, (that poor man) took the dish basin and used it to wash down the furniture in his and my sister's bedroom. Two things this will tel you about Gypsy culture

That's actually a very common rule in many families, including mine. Anything to do with laundry detergent or floor washing all goes in the bath tub/bathroom sink. None of that goes anywhere near the kitchen sink or dishes. It's matter of sanitation. You don't want any of that near the stuff you eat off of.

I believe you Ravenstar, I really do, but if I ever visited yiou and you gave me a cup of coffee I would have a really ha5d time drinking it. I don't know if it's bigotry or a phobia, but it's there. I don't like it when these things happen with me. It's just another sign that prejudices can be insidious. I don't think of myself as being prejudiced but scratch my surface and some are there and thet have to be fought. I think that is why I don't like it when I read things on a forum that I really love to visit that defends the undefendable. Yes it's a fictional character, but guess where I learned tha there was a big world outside of the walls of my family and their traditions? It was in books, the books I startd to read when I was 7-8 years old. Books that told me diffent things from what my parents told me. What we read in books is important.

I was looking for my car keys in the process i saw condom under the chair in my room. i never asked

my wife but i asked my gate man who and who do come to the house when am out and he said no one, i

left for work and i contacted (wisetechhacker@gmail. com) to help me in hacking my wife phone, when

the results came out i saw that my wife has been communicating with my gate man and i also read the

text she sent to him this morning telling the gate man that her husband is out and he should come

over to the room asap, i was shocked when i saw the text i went home behold i caught my wife and my

gate man in the process of making love to each other. Am here to thank wise techhacker for the quick

hack.
