Somehow I've managed to never read any Edgar Allan Poe, but I need to remedy that! I'm going through a phase of reading old horror / ghost stories - from the era when they were genuinely spooky, not gory and disturbing - so Poe should really be next on my list!

I love Poe. He's second behind Lovecraft for me! I actually will be adding an Annabel Lee-inspired perfume to my shop this month :)

Oh yes the air after a spring rain... the grass smell so wonderful then. I have actually noticed that even though I love blossoming tree they can stink a bit to me. That doesn't fit into my romantic idea of them ;)

Haha really? I don't think I've ever deliberately smelled a blossoming tree. I shall have to do that next spring.
