Small Notes

I'm so glad I made the decision to make the official release date for Rescued April 17. There is no way I could've had it finished by the first. Not with my crazy dayjob schedule. I worked eleven hours today, and will be doing the same tomorrow and Saturday (which means I probably won't be around much til at least Sunday~). By the time I got home ( Read more... )

The 1st of april would indeed be very early to release your book. I even think the 17th is fast but it's your choice that you've made and i'm wishing you all the luck!

Thanks, Bie. It may be a little fast, but I think I can pull it off okay :)

*perks up* I need to get over here more often! LJ, I mean . . . you have something being released next month? *bounce* AWESOME. I know we talked, before, about swapping work, and I didn't mean to let that drop, but I really don't have time lately for anything other than commitments already committed to. That doesn't mean I'm not super excited to get to see some of your work. YAYYAYYAY.

The dayjob is totally the dayjob, I get that. Gods, do I Get. That.

Working in retail, I have been surprised the last few weeks that our easter stuff isn't already on clearance. "But, we already had . . . oh. wait. Never mind."

A moment of win at work that I wish I had witnessed: one of my coworkers wished a customer an enthusiastic Happy Easter! and she, an older French Jewish lady really let him have it over it. It had to have been a thing of awesome.

I've also been talking about this over on my writer website. :P I tend to update more there about my release just because it's more public and has a better chance of being found on search engines. I don't think they pick up LJ stuff at all. *shrug* Total marketing thing :D

Yes, dayjob is dayjob. Not the work I'm passionate about at all (though it did give me a free Easter ham!).

Haha that moment would've been awesome :D

Gah! I've lost track of so many blogs I mean to be reading regularly. I blame FB, I really do. Well, no, I blame myself, aided by the distraction of FB. I've disengaged from a lot of writerly places/blogs toward the end of last year-to-now, trying to get back to my basics, and it's been good. I seem to fluctuate between no networking to only networking, and back again. My socialness is cyclical. Which is fine. A long-winded way of saying, I'd forgotten about your author blog, and thank you for the reminder!

Ha! Well I also have an author facebook page now, too! So even if FB is to blame for the time suck, and you still want to keep up with my releases and happenings, just keep an eye out there :D

Oh, also, for the longest time, I didn't update my author website, so don't feel too bad. I've been updating my Odin website far more regularly :P
