In the last two weeks a lot has happened in my life. I went to Canada, for one - though it was fun to see miles turn to kilometers and all it was certainly more about seeing the people: Jinx, Sarah, Maria, Jason, Baby and of course the birthday pup: Corky (Maria's terrier, the reason I went to Canada). Sorry to hear about the rejection. Law school, eh? Although I rarely think of it, lawyers do do an awful lot to help people. Good luck in your new endeavors.

Thanks John. It certainly does depend on the lawyer, but there are some out there that do a lot of good. I'm a little bit uneasy with the "beat the system by joining up" ideal, but I'm afraid I'm starting to buy into it

"Beat the system or joining up" is pretty much what Jason, with his idealism ever at odds with his cynicism, did... Except he joined up in a (sort of) different country. (Just like Mr. Lenin did...)
