Talked to my mother today on the phone. Nothing special, just the regular "how are you, how's things?" etc call that I make once or twice a week

*sigh* Just a few weeks back, in another one of those phone conversations, she said: "Well, you might have a few slight abilities, but you don't have any talent at all..."

Needless to say, I was crushed. Took me days to pick myself up again... *sigh*

Awww dear, parents sometimes are so avar about praises... they doesn't know that their children need them. Even when they become adult. We live trying to make them proud...

Unfortunately, my mother knows *all* the buttons to push so that I feel really bad. *She* says, she's only looking out for me... but in reality she's just destroying whatever little self-confidence I have, every time.

Darling, I know what that means... my dad and my mom are like your mother... always to destroy my little confidence, and now I'm an unsure thing, too much... sigh I hope to be a better parent.
