NNGH. I approve so heartily of this, you have no idea. RenIchi are very IC, and this: He follows Shunsui’s gaze, and sees that the two are curled together on the bed, Abarai’s arm slung protectively over Kurosaki’s shoulder. - nngh, they're CUDDLING IN A HOSPITAL BED and the "protectively" there made me squee so hard. Of course, the ShunUki caused that too :D

And also: FIERCE!

But, whew, glad you think they're IC! ^_^;; Maybe I'm getting the hang of them, slowly. xD

I'm so glad you liked the protective cuddling! That was actually the first image that came to my mind. Them cuddling and Ukitake wanting his own cuddles, heh. xD I made you squee, yay!

I didn't think of our 'fierce' conversation when Ukitake makes the 'fierce' comment. *shifty eyes*
