So... I'm buying a house, or rather I'm planning on it. Originally, the idea was to do it this summer, when my lease is up but the more I looked at the numbers and the more I looked at my finances I decided I'd start looking and trying now, but was probably going to wait until December.

I had a PLAN. A PLAN. And now it's... borked. If I want to close this summer, I might have to ask my parents to float me the down payment until I get my tax credit.

I sympathize about the moving twice in 6 months, because moving is a royal pain in the ass. Tell yourself it's all steps toward Being In Your Own House.

I'm hoping hoping hoping that the house now option works out. If it doesn't, I have a friend that might let me live with her for six months and I can stick my stuff in storage.

BUT - that option still sucks.
