In the midst of my incoherent squeeing over the return of 24, the following thoughts occurred to me.

I'm still like omg cannot process. It wore me out. My heart can't race for that long!

SO much better than s6 opening. Love the newbies.

Larry is so in love with Renee. I just don't know if it's mutual or not.

I think the first mole is gonna be Janis.

Oh there is squee. There is squee. I think it wouldn't have been off-screen killing if we hadn't gotten to meet him in Redemption.

To true.

I think the Renee/Larry is mutual or at least WAS at some point. I'm thinking Jack/Nina early Day one. The trust is there, the tension is there, so YMMV - we'll probably find out sooner or later.

You know, I kinda dig the newbies, too. So much more than any other season. They seem more rounded from the outset.

Except Sean. I don't like Sean. I want Chloe or Janis to take him down. I will not cry if he is the mole, and therefore soon-to-be deceased.

I don't want to see Janis as the mole, just because I want her in a scene with Chloe. The snark will be EPIC.

Oooooooo. I could SEE that - but I'm not sure who is Jack and who is Nina. Also? Tony and Jack worked together in 1999 on off the record missions.

And they were close.

I cannot wait. I need to seee tomorrow l ike NOW.

Ditto - bets on who's on the other end of that -"I was told to call" number?

Good money says Bill and/or Chloe.

I'm pretty sure the neighbors heard me squee.

I *LOVE* bad!Tony. I honestly don't think he's really bad but even if it turns out he is, I don't care. I can totally understand it if he is. I just want to hear him say it, that he's doing this all because of his love for Michelle. ANGST!TONY IS HOT!

And that last scene where Jack is asking him what happened to him, dear lord I didn't think it was possible for Carlos to look any hotter but...I was proven wrong.

Jack looked so heartbroken, too. It was like the last of his heroes had just slapped him in his face.

Makes sense, though. He replaced his real family with work, and he trusted Tony with his secrets - a trust Tony obviously didn't share.

I can't wait to see what we get out of tonight. Although it doesn't look like Tony says much.

But really, does he have to? At this point, I'm just kinda happy he's breathing. So long as he keeps breathing, I will let a lot of other things go.

Yeah, I had to go back and edit myself. But compared to last season's carnage, this was rather bloodless, wasn't it.

The look on Jack's face when he was asking Tony what happened to him was heartbreaking. Poor Jack. I hope Tony's redeemed if only to preserve Jack's faith in humanity. I'm tempted to go all meta on Jack's replacement of his real family with his work family and how both have failed him utterly...but it's waaay to early for the thinky stuff for me.
