yes, there is a difference between us region encoding on a dvd and european region. although 9 out of 1o people here own a dvd player here that will play all regions. best to just check with him and see if he has one.
It's strange how when one decides to go 'underground',per say,and only hang out selectively with certain people one-on-one,people from your past who have not seen you for months think of you only in the same sense as the person they have always known(anybody understand what I'm trying to say here?).
I had something like this the other week at the Skinny Puppy show. This girl I used to know about 9 years ago came up to me and was all excited to see me. She treated me exactly like we were still the mates we were back then. When she asked how long extatika and I had been together and we told her she even said "Oooh, that's good for you". As if I'm the same person I was nearly a decade ago. It's kinda sad the people don't change enough themselves so automatically think others don't change.
Gurrrrrl, don't even get me started!lady_medeaSeptember 4 2005, 18:36:13 UTC

This is spot on, K. And this happens because they have not changed and are still stuck in the same place they have been for ages.
I was something of a mystical bird as most of that crowd very rarely sees me in public anymore. Most of them I find extremely dull and/or socially inept.I'd rather put a gun to my head than overhear about their latest goth acquisition or who is hot on the music scene.Gimme my Throbbing Gristle damn it,and I'm a happy girl.
Indeed. I find it horrific that on the rare ocassion I do go out to a "goth" club I see the same staples there wearing their same decades-old garb still talking about the same shit they were talking about 17 years ago! Do you know they call people like me an "elder?" LOL! If you have
