Ah...I sound like a horrible person when I say that I'm glad that it made you cry, but that was really what I was going for when I wrote this one. I wanted to make something really, truly powerful and hauntingly real. Because marriage equality and gay rights is such an important personal topic to me. It's very close to my heart. So my aim really was to make something real. So I'm glad that it's had the desired effect. Plus, that song 'Take Me To Church' is a song and video that really resonated with me and it gave me such inspiration to write
