thankfully, it was most assuredly *not* Romulan Ale. Well, at least not the Terran version (the first time i ever tried beer was at the Star Trek Experience at the Vegas Hilton, in Quark's Bar. on my 29th birthday. Ugh, beer is terrible. Making it blue helps only the slightest bit)

i was in Vegas for my 29th birthday, and i finally decided it was time to taste beer for the first time (i drank other stuff before then, i just had never ever tasted beer...). so we got the beer sampler. they were all nasty. i forget where the Romulan Ale landed in the Nastiness Spectrum, but it's really pretty immaterial. the specific position on the spectrum between "Super Nasty" and "Mega Nasty" just isn't that important.

now, the Borg Sphere at Quark's Bar... now *that's* a drink. i heartily approve.
