It is the single best one-stop shopping for LJ HTML help. I have switched completely to posting from the HTML editor, but even if you choose not to, knowing how to fix the wonky LJ cuts in the HTML editor is a good idea. LJ knows they don't work sometimes, and they haven't fixed it yet.

If you do switch to the HTML editor to fix something, just don't switch back to the rich text side before you hit save, or it all goes wrong again.

I've also taken to posting an entry as viewable only to me, then checking how it appears as an entry, and on the friends list, so I can make sure the cut worked. If it's all good, I change it to public.

Glad you're enjoying the fic, and finding LJ as annoying as the rest of us do!

I'm glad you liked the analogy. I rather enjoy Walkers shortbread bikkies - to the extent that I have to buy the packets with the smaller packets inside because otherwise they just seem to evaporate. And the analogy does fit your fic to a T.

Thank you so much for the link. I'm going to head over there now and buff up on it. (RL has sunk its teeth into me for the last fortnight, and probably for the next month, and there are so many more recs I want to make.)
