I shouldn't do it... I should work on the LE challenge... but... argh. I can't resist. At least I know one person'll read it. ^_^.
Mostly I'm intrigued by the relationship between Baldwin and Saladin (I'm going totally by the movie; I don't really care how fictionalized they are) -- they clearly respect each other and I think that if their circumstances were different they would have been great friends. I almost imagine them Xavier&Magneto-like, without quite the massive conflict of interest. As far as the fic, I have one very clear conversation I could see them having, and I'll have to build the rest from there...
Pfft. I'll never trust you. Well, you know what I mean -- I inherited too much of your stubbornness. And curiosity -- big with the curiosity. Heh.
It was interesting to watch, though -- but I have to say the D.C. was better, if for no other reason at all, simply because Baldwin got to lay the theological smackdown on that Patriach dude with his whole "I shall confess to God when I see him" brush-off. HAH, take that. XD
But the El-Lawrence craving is reaching dangerous levels! Aww, okay. *drools at thought of shiny clean DVD picture*
Baldwin fic, yes. See response to Yma above. I must keep it short, though. Actually my idea came in the form of dialogue alone, which is usually a good sign -- I can keep dialogue fics short fairly easily.

Sorry, I was meant to dissuade you, wasn't I?
