I never saw the theatrical release of Kingdom of Heaven, and from all I heard I'm glad I didn't. Mom watched it, and warned me off of it pretty quick. I trust her instincts on these things, since our tastes are almost identical

YES! YES, Faisal and Baldwin should get together and rule the world! They can start with their respective countries (Faisal taking over the leadership of Iraq, which he was later given by the British; and Baldwin taking over Jerusalem, and hopefully all of Israel). Now THAT is the recipe for peace in the Middle East!
Yeah, I saw Lawrence of Arabia several times, and Faisal has always been my favorite character. And yes, Omar Sharif is a lot cuter than Peter O'Toole (but Prince Faisal is still the best!).
