Does anyone else start spontaneously salivating when they look at a shelf full of unread books?
I used to. Once. Now they give me this vague feeling of pain, because I always have many more books to read than time to read them, and I could read far more if I didn't write so much, but that's a compulsion, not a choice. I still love books - I still buy just as many. And then they hang around my bedside and haunt me with guilt that I abandoned them :-(
Actually, I shouldn't say that, since I don't know anything at all about the other Doctors, but I adored Tom Baker. Yes, I'm one of the millions who knitted a six-foot scarf just to be like the Doctor. So did Rhonda, by the way. You know who I mean. ;)
And yes, I spontaneously salivate at the sight of books. All you have to do is look at our house to tell.
