Prose poem written for AP English. I was given a formula, but I deviated from it rather dramatically. Very beautiful and wonderfully written, you've an amazing way with language. I particually liked the use of the recurring line, it just has that kind of lyricism that will stick in my mind for ages. Very beautifully written and I (like you, no doubt,) can very much sympathise with the main character! (:
Excellent work, one of the nices pieces of writing I've seen in along while!

The formula that our teacher handed out was for an "I Am..." poem, but I can't write in first person or present tense, so I decided "to heck with formulas!" and did it my way. ^_^.
