A question to my friends.

Do you consider any of your Internet friends - the ones that you DON'T know outside of it - as a best friend, a regular ol' friend, or simply an acquaintance? Inquiring minds want to know. Mostly mine's.

(And don't worry - whatever you say, it won't offend me. :P)

I count internet friends as friends. Friends I will probably never meet but friends none the less.

I had a best friend from the internet once. I really did want to meet her, but she had a world of trouble last year and we lost contact. I really miss her.

It depends usually. I have a few friends I've met from the net and then IRL. They are pretty good friends too so I guess it just depends on your situation. :)

Ah, I understand. I think that's how it is for me, too.

I hate that attitude. >.> You can be friends with anyone you want. I consider you a friend. :3

It depends. There are some people I've been talking to for years, through message boards and other blogging sites until livejournal, who I talk to on AIM and stuff sometimes and genuinely like. Some I've known, and we comment and facebook and whatever, and I think we'd get along in real life, but I couldn't truthfully consider them more than an acquaintance. I have one friend who was a very good internet friend that I eventually met IRL, and we've hung out a few times and stuff (it was lucky; things could have been bad) and we're still honestly friends, I think. Not that close, since distance relationships will never be quite the same as when you're face to face, but still pretty good friends.

I can't say I've had an internet best friend, but I think you can be real friends with people you don't meet. Even though there is always the chance that they're not real, which is frightening, and I count myself lucky that I haven't had that happen to me. Most, still, are, I suppose, acquaintances.

I'm sorry, I seem to have written you a ( ... )

Long, but it makes plenty of sense! It is hard to have a best friend online, but it's not like it's impossible, either, so it's all good.

I do in fact I am marrying one lol, we set the date for 6th of Dec ^^ of course we're having Jeni marry us and we'll have to honemoon in 2010 because she lives in England lol...

We are pretty close and talk about everything, from this and that to H stuff and X.

We are apeart of this small group called "Time Turning Weatherbys" and met on IMDb and went to Facebook and MSN. I've been a member for almost two years and I tell everyone one everything.

We're planning a trip to go to Harry Potter land in 2010 ^^

They are better friends then most of the ones I've had in real life.

LOL! Really?

I'm glad I'm making friends IRL now, but yes, I've been friends with Internet peeps for a long time. ^_^
