Title: Romancing the Pain

Rating: PG-13

Pairing: Pepa/Silvia

Summary: Post episode 104 as well as my last fic, Come Back to Me. It’s basically its sequel; the events that occur after Silvia was released from the hospital.

A/N: I have nothing witty or funny to say. There's an A/N purely because the post looks wonky without one. *chuckles* ( Read more... )

Oh wow.
Sheesh. I am once again in awe of the way you write. I think I've fallen, fallen hard for your writing Raven. I'm completely and utterley devoted. Your writing is just exquisite.

This chapter was so moving. As are all the chapters really, but Pepa and the little pelirroja, written so beautifully.
And in my mind she was just completely adorable.
I kind of hope this story just keeps going and going and going forever because I can't get enough of it! (so in response to your A/N, I am definately not tired of reading)

Hi! Gods your comments make me blush. *shy smile* Such compliments. Muchas gracias!

I was picturing a family friend's kid in Ireland when I wrote that little girl. I haven't seen her for years but the last time I saw her she was about 4 or 5 and she was just soooo cute. Chubby cheeks dotted with freckles, beautiful green eyes and this mess of wavy bordering on curly copper hair. And she had this smile that made me melt every time. *laughs* I'm such a sucker for kids. They can get me to do anything.

Thanks for reading and commenting, B. I'm so glad you're still enjoying this story. You'll be happy to know that it's not done yet...it's gonna go on for a good few more chapters. *nervous chuckle* Gods I hope I can live up to your praises.

You're very welcome!
Aww a little pelirroja, with freckles and green eyes and Irish, she would have been completely adorable!
I have a thing for Ireland aye...really want to visit there as soon as I can. Family heritage and all that.
Children are just gorgeous.

This story is just so good! Angst is just as good as smut and sometimes better I must say.
Oh yay, several more chapters, I'm pleased! *jumps up and down*
Don't worry about living up to my praises, I have faith that you definately will.

Ireland is nice...I'll admit I can never live there cuz I'm too much of a city gal and it's bordering rural where some of my relatives and family friends live but it's amazing for vacation. The damn country is so green it totally lives up to its name of "Emerald Island". But of course you know what that means. *nods* Yeah..it rains so damn much there, its insane. Another reason why I couldn't live there...I hate the rain. *rolls eyes*

And yes from what I remember, the girl was adorable. I used to love it when she got tired and would ask to be picked up and she would just cuddle into you like you were her personal teddy bear. I swear I was putty in that child's hands. All she needed to say was "jump" and I would only ask "how high" *rolls eyes..laughs*

That was so sweet, the moments between Pepa and the little pelirroja. Ok not so angsty this chapter, I appreciate it but still a bit heart breaking, you're so good at writing the raw emotions, I love it.
As always I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

I have one question, somewhat relevant to this fic. I have read in many different fics on this forum about a shell Pepa gave Silvia when she was younger. Was this mentioned on the show?, because my friend & I don't remember anything about that. I love the little tidbit of history, it's so sweet and fitting to their love, but I'm going crazy trying to figure out where it came from.

Hiya. Thanks for reading and taking the time to leave a comment. Yeah, angst-light on this chapter. I figured after sending Pepa into a near car accident the least I could do was to give her a reprieve.

As for the shell thing...hmm good question. I don't think it's ever come up in the show...I know I made it up when I wrote the flashback of little Pepa and Silvia. Maybe it's just PepSi readers having some strange obsession with Pepa/Silvia and shells? *chuckles*

Thanks for such a speedy answer. You're good, girl!

That's funny about the shell bit, I love it though, so props to you for creating that little history for the lovely pair.

I just want to say I always enjoy your stories and look forward to whatever you write, even if it's painful to read and ok you're not evil...not even a little bit ;)

oh god. that was so... I don't know what it was... but touching and so sweet and sad and... children have it all figured out. xD life should be simple like that.
and for a moment I thought Pepa was getting all suicidal before that ghost of the past girl tugged at her jeans.
now Pepa just needs to get that magic shell to Silvia and all is well right? then no one died and everyone's happy and the evil King El Gordo will perish!
ah hell
the chapter was amazing! I love you story! I know say that like every time but... don't know. feels wrong not to say it *laughs*
and I'm trying to be all patient now and not sound like a crazy addict again :) and I have my whiskey to calm me. it's 11am in the morning here now so I think it should be okay LOL

*blinks* It's ELEVEN in the MORNING and you're downing a whiskey?! Tsk, tsk, tsk. You're an alcoholic in the making! *giggles*

I love reading your comments, they make me feel all mushy and happy. Well it wasn't really a "ghost of the past" Silvia...Pepa just seems to be at places where there are redheads, in my world anyway. *laughs*

Pepa contemplating suicide? *shudders* Gods, no! Silvia would resurrect her ass and kill her herself! Lol.

Thanks for consistently saying that you love this story. I'm so happy you do. *smiles* But yup...this is gonna have to be your fix for now. Just remember, patience is a virtue. But here: *hands you a brownie* To keep you going, lol.

*stops dead opening the bottle* well... now I don't know anymore. you make it sound all wrong :( LOL but alcoholics have all the fun anyway. no need for bathing. always get a lot of space in crowds because of that. mumbling funny stuff. shouting funny stuff. having this healthy reddish color in their faces xD

and I'm happy my babbling comments make you happy and mushy xD
and I'm not sure if that makes your world cruel or awesome LOL

oh so true *laughs* but she was so lost and alone and hurt I really wasn't sure what she would do. she can be such an idiot...

and patience maybe a virtue but life's way to short to be virtuous :( ...but thanks for the brownie! (is there whiskey in it? :D ) *giggles*

Uh huh...you keep up that kinda behavior in public and you know what you're gonna attract? COPS! *giggles*

*nods* Pepa and Silvia. Silvia and Pepa. Both are completely USELESS when they hit an emotional breakdown. I mean look at Silvia at the beginning of this story? Complete shutdown! And Pepa was trying to find the rainbow at the bottom of countless beer bottles. *shakes head* Gods these two..love em but sometimes I wanna shake em both..hard.

And no, there's no whiskey in it. *wags finger* But now you've got me craving for my mama's special bailey's sauce that she would make and drizzle over her mud cakes. *sighs wistfully* One of the crap things about going to uni: you don't live at home and get the benefits of homemade cooking anymore. Pfft...
