Well I think Cara is treating Kahlan very nicely,because she could have just taken her to the police station for the interogation.Of course I don't know if she has other intentions in not doing so.

I really needed them to get a little closer and alhtough they still have some problems in the way, Cara is doing whatever she can to help Kahlan. I mean of course she is :P
and even though Kahlan is obviously lying, they both know that she can't tell the truth quite yet. we'll see how that works out.

although Kahlan and Cara still have some obstacles to overcome, I do believe that it will turn out to be alright in the end.

Very intriguing so far. And nice to see that Cara, while smiling at Kahlan almost forgets about her duty.

I think that my underlying continued desire to actually have a dog seeps into my fiction from time to time xD that is why Spike is sort of wishful thinking on my part.

and yes unusual first date for Kahlan and Cara. but better than nothing, they have to get closer at some point, right?

I'm really glad you like the story so far. I'm really getting into the whole secrets and intrigues thing, but I just don't how it will turn out eventually. I'm working on it though.
once Kahlan and Cara start working together I'll hopefully manage to bring them a little closer :P

Finally there is some real Cara and Kahlan interaction - even if you now have me so far to hope for another blonde woman 'interacting' with Kahlan ;)

But seriously, it's quite nice of Cara to take Kahlan home, intimate even.. I can't wait to see where this is going and how Kahlan will be able to get out of this. Will we ever find out what was in the trunk?

I can promise you again that Denna will come back! I'm already plannig on it, and there's no way around that. so just hold on for the ride and get your seatbelt buckled when Denna steps onto the scene :P
