I thought this day would never come, but it has.

I liked the latest chapter of Naruto more than I did the latest chapter of Bleach, by a very very very very long shot. And for years I have found Naruto annoying, annoying, annoying.

For she's the Maid of Fail.
When others flash zanpakutous
She wrings her hands and wails.

Her breasts are huge, fanservice-y
Her voice is shrill and high.
When others grunt and sweat and bleed

When first I saw Orihime
I sneered and thought oh, no!
A wimpy air-head, just a joke,
Please write her off my show!

And then, one day, Espada 4
Retreived her for her skills,
For Aizen saw Orihime
Could mitigate all kills.

Hurrah! Said I, At last, at last!
She'll show them all she's strong!
She'll be the greatest of them all!
Alas, I was so wrong.

I do not like Orihime,
For her there is no need.
She needs to go from off my show.
For this, Sensei, I plead.

I have never had a verse-comment before! You are a first. And, okay, your bankai is obviously the writing pen, ttebayo! And if my brain were even slightly less fried I would attempt a response in verse, but alas. No more sestinas from me for the next little while, till my brains grow back!

That would indeed be a great bankai. Meanwhile, I have no idea why I wrote this in verse - though I do confess I have some skill in writing what I call "rhyming craplets." If only I could figure out a way to make money off this!

Anyway, thanks for the sweet comments - and as you can see, I am not a fan of Orihime, exactly because just when she seems promising she wimps out.

Also. How sad/ironic is it that Aizen is the one who figures out that Orihime is potentially the strongest of them all? Gin may still be the eeliest, but Aizen is still outsmarting all of Soul Society. You'd think Shunsui would have commented sardonically on it by now.
