I just got back from seeing "The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe." All I have to say is: perfect. It was perfect. I was amazed at how well they stuck to the book (both plot and theme... not to mention all the wonderful little details). They actually managed not to Disney-ify it. I'm still all twitterpated from seeing it.

Yeah, the title is kind of self explanatory. I guess it started out as a sad day. Tanya, my sweet, special, hairless rattie girl has passed away. She was old, and took a turn for the worse about 2 weeks ago. I knew it was coming, but I'm still depressed and I miss her way too much ( Read more... )

^Although I wish I hadn't. It was AMAZING and WONDERFUL and AWESOME and all sorts of other words that can't adequately describe my experience. And although I've been through Midterm Hell since I got back, I still feel like I'm floating above the mesas.... *sigh*

Ahhh, I love shopping. On Monday I finally got to hang out with Bonnie again (darn girl needs to get herself a telephone!) and for lack of anything better to do (not to mention the awful HEAT) we went to the mall. Puppy!

I am soooooooooo sleepy right now. But I have a cute little puppy for a couple days, so all is good with the world. The puppy is also very sleepy, so I think I will take this as a sign to go take a nap with the puppy.
