BBQ at my house Friday. Wish me luck on my first solo BBQ ever. I seldom do these pro-social endeavors- I am such a social retard/misanthrope- and I have the distinct impression that it will flop. hey did i take that picture?! i remember taking one just like it... i am definitely coming to your barbecue, and i'm sure phyllis, too. mind if i bring kaya? i'm excited!! i like hanging around your digs. that sounds dirty. i don't know how to use those words. i like hanging around your pad. that's even dirtier!

um, it's okay if you bring Kaya, as long as you bring a piece of FOOD.

Also, no- I took that picture. I'm sure you took some similar ones though. We were together. It was a marvelous time, that summer journey to Utah to visit the various Utards.

I will bring that melon! and I am sure this bbq will be fun. I recently had a party at my house, and thought it would be awful, but it turned out to be one of the best evenings of my adult life. I'm looking forward to that slab of beef. I am already salivating.
