I never asked you how it came to pass that you were the chosen one to work on this book, besides your obvious talent anyway. I really like some of the essay topics in there they are quite intriguing. I am going to read it right away to get a review up there. I am sure there will be plenty though.
How nice of you to do a review! I'm sure the Mugglenet Boys will really appreciate that!
I got involved through Chamber of Secrets Forum. Morgoth, the owner, gave my name to Emerson, who wrote me a message. :) Then I had to write and rewrite a bunch of samples for Ben Schoen and the publisher.
So I guess it pays to be long-winded on forums and to cause as much trouble as possible. I sure am glad now that Morgoth never banned me during the great Snape debate, no matter how tempted he was. Thanks, Morgoth!!!
Well see it pays to be passionate about your point of view regardless of what others think. This is proof positive of that. You are an excellent writer which I am sure made you stand out anyway.
Gina asked me how you got involved and after all this, I can't believe I never thought to ask that. I assumed it was based on your numerous essays which I guess was partly right. I can't wait to get started. I have paged through most but not really read other than bits and pieces. There are such great topics.
I've been out of the loop for so long and quite a long time since I have pissed anyone off - but I just have to say that the title alone makes me so happy.
Not so good at the moment. Steen's dad died two weeks ago, and we've been staying with his mum, helping out and trying to deal with it all. It's beginning to get a little better now, but it's been hard.
As for being around, I seem to have developed this annoying habit of disappearing for large stretches of time when I'm busy, then struggling to catch up with everything instead of just jumping in and getting back in touch. I'm working on it, but for some reason I find it difficult to go back to posting or commenting if I have been away for a while.

I do have three editorials that were accepted by Mugglenet under the name Silver Ink Pot, but years ago now.
Horace Slughorn's Slippery Name
Dumbledore and the Tantalizing Tantalus Clue
The third one was just a list of references to people hanging upside down in the books (and that predated Charity Burbage in DH by a few years):
Upside Down, Hanging Around, Falling to the Ground
And then I worked on the Mugglenet/Wizarding World Press Fanbook, and had four essays in that, plus my essays on HPN.

Thank you, Gina! :) Yes, it's a subversive title, for sure.
Come on over and piss someone off any time you like!

I'm glad you were the one they picked to do this. I'm sure you've done a great job, and I look forward to reading your book.
Morgoth recommended you? That was unexpected.

Thank you - it was a long time in coming. :) You'll recognize some of the debates from the old days on CoS.
