Tree-Hugger News: Obama Signs Public Lands Omnibus Act

The news was depressing yesterday about the car companies in Michigan and the stock market heading downward again. I have no idea what is going to happen next.

But there was actually a huge piece of good news yesterday for tree huggers like me.

Oh good - this news really got overshadowed yesterday, so I figured alot of people hadn't heard about it.

Here's something I just saw on Snitchseeker - JKR is having dinner with the Obamas tonight in London at the G-20 Conference.

What will they talk about, I wonder? Michelle Obama used to be an attorney - they can compare notes on copyright cases, haha.

Or she will ask Michelle if she ever had a wardrobe malfunction.

It is great to see more parks being preserved if not for us then for the species that need those areas to survive.
It would be nice to see good paying manufacturing jobs survive too. :-( Let's keep our fingers crossed.
